5000 teachers and doctors will undergo training on personal data protection in 2026

The State Agency for Personal Data Protection of Kyrgyzstan has announced the conduct of extensive training for specialists in the fields of education and healthcare. The Deputy Director of the agency, Kylimbek Madalbekov, reported this at the National Forum dedicated to the topic "Data and Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

Madalkbekov noted that with the support of the European Union, Expertise France, and the Estonian e-Governance Academy, it is planned to cover all regional centers of the country in 2026, training 5,000 workers in education and medicine.

The training will primarily focus on teachers and doctors to enhance the level of protection of personal data for children and patients.
From 2022 to 2025, the agency has already organized 74 training sessions, with 3,842 participants, averaging about 50 participants at each event.
