
Important alpine skiing competitions were held at the "Kashkulak" base in Kyrgyzstan, which included two stages of the Central Asia Cup, the National Championship, as well as a junior championship and an international event under the auspices of FIS.
Athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Armenia participated in the tournament. The Federation of Alpine Skiing of Kyrgyzstan achieved impressive results, especially in the "slalom," where Kyrgyz athletes won all three medals: gold, silver, and bronze.
The first place was taken by Alexander Korobov, while his teammates Roman Narchuganov and Timur Shakirov finished in second and third places, respectively.
Among women, the winner was the Kazakh athlete Maria Shkabarova, with Uzbek skier Sabina Rezhepova in second place, and the bronze went to Dalel Tolkunova from Kazakhstan.
In the final run, Roman Narchuganov became the champion again, while Timur Shakirov finished second, and Ashot Karapetyan from Armenia took third place.
