Akyilbek Eshimov elected new president of the Kok-Boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan
Today in Bishkek, a meeting of the Kok-Boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan took place, during which a new president was elected. Akyilbek Eshimov took this position, succeeding Ramis Junusaliyev.

Seventy-four delegates participated in the meeting, who listened to the report on the activities of the previous president, Ramis Junusaliyev. His resignation was unanimously accepted.

Akyilbek Eshimov previously served as a deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh from 2011 to 2015, and then headed the National Federation of Alys Kurosh Wrestling from 2015 to 2022. Recently, he led the Kara-Suu Kok-Boru Federation.

It is worth noting that in December of last year, Ramis Junusaliyev was detained on charges of fraud, and investigative actions regarding this case are ongoing.
