At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Industrial Policy, Transport, Fuel and Energy Complex, Architecture, and Construction on February 3, Deputy Kylchayev inquired about when the renovation in Bishkek would begin.

Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Talant Imanakun uulu reported that the process of approving the master plan is currently underway, and the renovation will start after its completion.

The deputy also reminded about the fire that occurred in November in a multi-story building at 16 Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, which resulted in the roof being burned.

Kylchayev noted that since then, no repairs have been made in the building, and its residents have dispersed. The city administration provided assistance to ten families, while the others are forced to live with relatives. The deputy added that the residents tried to repair the building on their own, but they were prohibited from doing so, and the building was disconnected from all utilities, losing both water and electricity.

In this regard, the deputy urged the Ministry of Construction to pay attention to this building and suggested including it in the renovation program.
