At the meeting of the committee on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction, deputy Altynbek Kylychbaev raised an important issue regarding the provision of housing for residents of the building located at 16 Ch.Aitmatov Avenue. The situation arose after a fire that occurred in November, which led to the destruction of the roof.

The deputy reported that at the moment, residents are forced to temporarily stay with their relatives, as the housing issue remains unresolved. The mayor's office has provided assistance to ten families, but the residents hope to restore their home. However, this requires permission from the Ministry of Construction, and all utilities have been disconnected.

Deputy Minister of Construction Talantbek Imankun uulu noted that until 2020, there were up to 30 illegal constructions in Bishkek. Some of them were completed, others were under construction or halted. Since attention to this problem has increased, illegal buildings are no longer being erected. He emphasized that the Ministry takes responsibility for already constructed facilities and is working on resolving issues related to water supply and electricity supply by preparing the necessary documents.

Kylychbaev pointed out that residents are facing difficulties during the winter period and called for a prompt resolution of the problem. In response, the deputy minister stated that they could go to the scene of the incident and promptly address the difficulties that have arisen.
