He emphasized that despite the construction of new educational facilities, many parents still prefer to send their children to prestigious schools, which requires traveling across the city.
“For example, some want their child to complete their education at school number 61. Why not make the new schools branches of existing ones? This would allow parents to take their children to these branches and reduce class overcrowding,” the deputy expressed his opinion.
The Ministry of Construction had previously announced the start of building 20 new schools in Bishkek and presented a complete list of the facilities. According to the information from the department, there are tens of thousands more students in the capital's educational institutions than the projected capacity allows.
