In Budapest, a book by the Kyrgyz folk writer Sultan Raev titled "Topon" has been published in Hungarian.

The collection includes the novel "Topon" and the stories "The Boy Who Caught the Sun" and "Kashaba".

This year, the novel "Janzhaza" was also published in Hungary, which received a wide response among local readers. Previously, only a few works by the famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov had been published in this country.

Sultan Raev emphasized: "Hungary is the homeland of the outstanding poet Sandor Petofi, Nobel Prize laureate Laszlo Krasznahorkai, and composer Franz Liszt. I believe that the publication of my work in Hungarian in a country with such a rich literary tradition is a great honor for both me and all Kyrgyz literature."

The novel "Janzhaza" and the collection "Topon" were translated into Hungarian by the renowned translator Jozsef Goreti. The presentation of the collection "Topon" took place at a high level at the Hungarian Center for Culture and Spirituality, gathering Hungarian literary scholars, public representatives, students, and literature enthusiasts.
