On the first day of the competition, Imandos Bektenov participated in the 10-meter air pistol shooting event among juniors, where he took second place, demonstrating high accuracy and consistency in his shots. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan.
Another Kyrgyzstani shooter, Askhat Tokmokov, also competed in the championship, finishing in seventh place in the adult category, showing a commendable result.
The tournament features 385 shooters from 19 different countries, with Kyrgyzstan represented by a team of 16 shooters. The competitions will continue for several days, during which athletes will compete for medals in various disciplines and age categories.
