The construction of the southern bypass road in Bishkek is causing concern among the residents of the village of Kok-Zhar. This was reported by Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastan Bekeshev on his Telegram channel, noting that local residents are expressing fears about the possible passage of the road through their homes and agricultural lands.

To discuss the situation, the parliamentarian organized a meeting with representatives of the local administration, investors, as well as specialists in architecture and the Ministry of Transport.

It is important to note that the city hall has already stated that the start of the implementation of the southern bypass road project depends on the approval of the general plan for Bishkek. According to the plans, the road will start from the western side in the area of the car market and will pass through the villages of Kun-Tuu, Baytik, Zarechnoye, Besh-Kungey, the state farm "Ala-Too," and Novopokrovka.
