In Bishkek, there is a sharp deterioration in air quality. According to information provided by
Kyrgyzhydromet, measurements taken have shown that levels of pollutants exceed permissible norms to a dangerous level.

According to data from the environmental pollution monitoring department, from January 30 to February 5, 2026, the average daily concentrations of key pollutants in the capital's air exceeded the norm by up to 3.25 times.

Ecologists emphasize that the worsening situation is related to unfavorable meteorological conditions and high intensity of emissions during evening and nighttime hours. Efforts to monitor and analyze air quality continue in the city.
