In a recent interview with "Kabar," President Sadyr Japarov explained that the 10-month training period in driving schools is not arbitrary and is based on international educational standards.

He noted that in most countries, the process of preparing drivers takes at least one year, and our specialists have adapted the training program to 10 months. "I would suggest considering the possibility of increasing the intensity of classes: instead of three times a week for two hours, conduct classes five times a week," he added, emphasizing that training is now also possible in an online format.

Japarov also stressed that if it becomes apparent that students can successfully pass exams in 5-6 months, then the issue of shortening the training period can be discussed. However, he acknowledged that preparing a trainee in such a short time would be extremely challenging.

According to him, statistics show that among those who trained for only 3.5 months, 90% were unable to pass the exams, and this figure could increase.

The president added that exams are now administered by an artificial intelligence system, which completely eliminates the human factor. Previously, among the 10% who successfully passed exams after three months of training, there were sometimes instances where instructors provided assistance.

He reminded that the training program includes not only traffic rules but also ethical aspects of driving.

In conclusion, Japarov urged citizens to support efforts aimed at caring for the future, despite possible difficulties.
