The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region has issued a warning for local residents and visitors to the area due to worsening weather conditions. The department emphasizes the need for drivers and pedestrians to adhere to traffic rules and exercise special caution.

According to information from the police, adverse weather conditions are observed on several sections of the roads. This is particularly true for the Bishkek – Osh highway near the Too-Ashuu pass, where strong fog and ice are recorded. Difficult conditions are also characteristic of the bypass roads in the Issyk-Ata and Kemin districts, as well as in mountainous areas and recreational spots, where visibility is significantly reduced, complicating vehicle movement.

The Main Department of Internal Affairs advises drivers to adhere to the established speed limits, maintain a safe distance, avoid sharp maneuvers, sudden braking, and overtaking. It is also important to check the technical condition of the vehicle, including brakes, lighting devices, and windshield wipers. It is recommended to refrain from long trips and outings to mountainous areas as much as possible until the weather conditions improve.

Pedestrians should also be extremely cautious when crossing the road, follow traffic rules, and use reflective elements in conditions of poor visibility.
