Officials remind drivers of the importance of strictly adhering to traffic rules during trips.
Due to adverse weather conditions, motorists are advised to:
- maintain a safe distance and speed limit;
- avoid sharp maneuvers, sudden stops, and unreasonable overtaking;
- check the condition of the vehicle before departure, especially the braking system, headlights, and windshield wipers;
- postpone long trips and outings to mountainous areas until the weather improves, if possible.
In addition, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate urges pedestrians to be especially careful when crossing the road, to follow traffic rules, and to use reflective elements in conditions of poor visibility or at night.
