The mystery of the death of Kazakh supermodel Ruslana Korshunova is once again in the spotlight

It has been discovered that she visited Epstein's island, where illegal parties took place.

The fate of Kazakh supermodel Ruslana Korshunova, who was one of the most prominent figures in the fashion world in the early 2000s, has once again attracted attention nearly two decades later. New documents related to financier Jeffrey Epstein's case indirectly mention her name, reports Tengri Life.

Ruslana Korshunova tragically passed away on June 28, 2008, in New York City, falling from a window in Manhattan. The police classified the incident as a suicide, although no suicide note was found, and the model's loved ones claimed she had no apparent reason for such an act.

The new materials include correspondence from representatives of the modeling industry and acquaintances of models from that time. Although the documents do not provide clear answers to questions about the reasons for Korshunova's death, they highlight conflicts and financial disputes surrounding the people involved in this dramatic story.

One of the letters, dated January 10, 2011, was written by modeling agent Ramsey Elholli to his client Regina (last name withheld). Interestingly, Elholli was not Korshunova's agent.

In this letter, he notes that the termination of cooperation was caused by financial conflicts and pressure from third parties, as well as events he associates with the tragic death of the model.

“I didn't know you were involved in the situation with Ruslana through your relationship with Mark Kaminski. If I had known, I wouldn't have worked with you,” he writes.

“After the tragedy related to Ruslana's death, I do not wish to be involved in such situations.” The letter also mentions conflicts within the modeling circle and rumors about drugs, but the document does not contain direct accusations.

Another interesting piece of material is a short email dated August 2, 2011, in which an anonymous sender directly addresses Jeffrey Epstein, mentioning Korshunova.

A trip to Epstein's island

Earlier, in January 2024, some media reported that Ruslana Korshunova visited Epstein's private island, known as Little St. James. According to published information, in 2006 she flew there on a private jet accompanied by a "wealthy admirer." What exactly happened on that island remains unknown, and allegations of possible sexual abuse have not been officially confirmed.

Information about the model

Ruslana Korshunova was born on July 2, 1987, in Chukotka and later moved with her family to Almaty. She entered the modeling business after her photo was noticed by representatives of MODELS 1 agency. Due to her long hair, she was nicknamed "Russian Rapunzel."

By the early 2000s, Korshunova had become a true star of the fashion industry, participating in advertising campaigns for brands such as DKNY, BCBG, Blugirl by Blumarine, Kenzo, and many others, as well as becoming the face of the Nina fragrance by Nina Ricci. She appeared on the covers of French ELLE and Russian Vogue.

Alternative versions and investigations

Over the years, various theories have emerged regarding the circumstances of Korshunova's death. For example, journalist Peter Pomerantsev proposed a hypothesis about the possible influence of closed psychological training on the model. However, there is no direct evidence for this theory, although it was discussed after her tragic death. Representatives of the organizations mentioned in this context denied all allegations.

It should be noted that the U.S. Department of Justice recently released new documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's case. In these materials, Kazakhstan is mentioned over 400 times, including meetings with high-ranking officials and trips to Almaty and Astana, as well as a mysterious girl named I.
