The family expresses deep concern: the results of the forensic examination, which they believe refute the suicide version, remain ignored by the investigator. At the same time, according to the relatives, the family of the deceased's husband is behaving provocatively. They are appealing to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to ensure a complete and fair investigation.
Chronology of the tragedy: from violence to "the devil commanded"
The events surrounding the death of the young teacher from the village of Esenbay in the Aravan district have from the very beginning resembled the plot of a dark thriller. On June 29, 2025, Aizirek Topchubaeva was found dead in her home — a mother of two small children: a three-year-old daughter and a six-month-old son. From the outset, contradictions arose in the case — this has been repeatedly reported by the editorial office of 24.kg.Strange circumstances
Relatives of Aizirek, who arrived at the scene of the tragedy a few hours after learning of her death, shared unusual details:“We were informed around 10 AM. Aizirek's parents were working in Russia. We arrived around 1 PM, when the police were already in the house. Aizirek's body was wrapped in a blanket, her head and legs were tied with white fabric, and greenery was placed around the edges (this is done in hot weather to reduce the smell of decomposition — note from 24.kg). We noticed that she had been changed and washed. The body was cold, and there was a smell of decomposition. There were bruises on her body from the armpits to the waist.”
Family conflict
From the first days, relatives claimed there was systematic violence in the family and traces of beatings on the woman's body. The deceased's mother recalls: “At the funeral, the mother-in-law openly said: ‘Go wherever you want! Sue! Do what you want.’
The editorial office of 24.kg went to Esenbay to talk to neighbors and visit the house where the young mother died. At that moment, only women were in the house, as the men were being interrogated.
The sister-in-law shared her version of events:
“It was an ordinary day: one daughter-in-law was sweeping the yard, another was preparing breakfast. Then everyone scattered — some went to the garden, some to the market. Later we learned that Aizirek had done this. The father-in-law took the body down, the husband was in shock. A baby was sleeping in the cradle. We tried to help, but she wasn’t breathing. They say the father-in-law heard her last breath. The older daughter lived with her grandmother while Aizirek and her husband were in Russia. Everyone treated her well.”
However, many villagers do not believe in the suicide version.
"The devil commanded": confession or staging?
In August 2025, a few weeks after the tragedy, the deceased's husband, Duyshon, came to her parents' house in a strange state, accompanied by relatives. In a video obtained by 24.kg, Duyshon, held by relatives, speaks in a changed voice as if under the influence of “unclean forces”: “I was possessed by unclean spirits. They commanded me. I killed by command. I possessed Aizirek.”
Forensic psychiatrist Tynchtykbek Asanov noted that such behavior “is more reminiscent of staging” and requires inpatient examination.
However, the investigator limited himself to merely having a “conversation” with the suspect, explaining his inaction as follows: “What else was there to do besides talking? Put him in the hospital? Either the doctors were on vacation, or I wasn’t at work.”
Investigation at a standstill
Four months later, the investigation has effectively stalled, according to Aizirek's relatives. The deceased's mother said:
“The investigator showed me the forensic examination report. It states that death occurred around three in the morning. But the husband's relatives claimed that she had breakfast in the morning and hanged herself. The investigator gave me a piece of paper and a pen, told me to write that I was familiar with the results and had no claims. I refused. I wrote that I demand an investigation — after all, the time of death does not match.”
Family members claim that after this, the investigator stopped responding. When asked about his inaction, he only replied: “It’s going slowly,” and then redirected the relatives to the forensic expert, although it is he who should be working with the evidence base.
Appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs: “We are seeking justice”
Losing hope in local authorities, Aizirek's family turned to the editorial office of 24.kg to draw attention to the case.“We ask the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to take the investigation under personal control. Our daughter died at night, not in the morning. We want to know the truth and demand a fair investigation, not excuses.”
The editorial office of 24.kg will continue to monitor the developments surrounding the mysterious death of the young mother of two children in the Aravan district.
