On February 7, Brad Arnold, the founder and vocalist of the rock band 3 Doors Down, passed away at the age of 48. This was announced by representatives of the band in an official statement.

According to media reports, the musician had been battling stage four kidney cancer, which was diagnosed in May 2025. Due to his illness, the band was forced to cancel their planned summer tour.
