According to Vakunov, an ambitious presidential project is currently being implemented in the republic, aimed at the construction of nine general education schools where instruction will be conducted in Russian.

“Currently, there are about 180 teachers of the Russian language and literature working in the Kyrgyz Republic, and we plan to increase this number in the future. In addition to this, a major presidential project is underway in the republic for the construction of nine schools with instruction in the Russian language,” the ambassador noted.

It should be noted that in the coming years, Russia plans to build nine schools across Kyrgyzstan.

The ceremony for laying the capsules for the construction of educational institutions in Bishkek, Batken, and Karakol took place on September 1, 2023, and the actual construction will begin in 2024. Each year, it is planned to build three new schools.
