In order to ensure the quality and timely conduct of spring fieldwork, as well as to support farmers and aggregators, the government plans to implement a number of state projects and investment programs.
Among them, initiatives such as "FSH-14," "KAPK," "FOTP-2," as well as projects for the development of breeding farms "Asyl-tukum," seed-growing nurseries, and a meat cluster in the Chui region and Bishkek, and water-saving technologies can be highlighted. These projects will be financed through various financial institutions.
Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that thanks to the attention of President Sadyr Japarov to agricultural issues, the following sources of funding for the agro-industrial complex are planned for 2026:
- 6 billion soms from the republican budget;
- 1.5 billion soms from a special account;
- 11 billion soms from the state investment project (SGI);
- 14.3 billion soms through capital investments;
- 9.3 billion soms within the framework of seven state support projects.
The total amount of allocated funds for the development of agriculture will exceed 42 billion soms. These measures are aimed at supporting farmers and aggregators, as well as modernizing irrigation infrastructure and ensuring the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex.
