According to information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred in an area known as Dacha. The ice gave way, and 15-year-old T. K. (born in 2008) and 29-year-old R. R. (born in 1996) ended up in the water.
Four rescuers from the Karakol City Fire and Rescue Department No. 15 arrived at the scene and successfully pulled the girl from the water, handing her over to medical personnel. The man was rescued by a local resident who happened to be at the scene and provided timely assistance.
