
The Kyrgyz national team will participate in three wrestling categories: freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling.
In the women's tournament, our country will be represented by four athletes: Gulnura Tashtanbekova (weight category up to 65 kg), Meirim Jumanaazarova (up to 68 kg), Nurzat Nurtayeva (up to 72 kg), and Aiperi Medet kyzy (up to 76 kg). Under the guidance of head coach Nurbek Izabekov, the team is ready for the competitions.
In freestyle wrestling, the honor of Kyrgyzstan will be defended by Abdymalik Karachov (up to 57 kg), Bekzat Almaz uulu (up to 61 kg), Bilal Sharip uulu, and Öskönbay Abdisamatov (up to 65 kg), as well as other athletes in the weight categories up to 70–92 kg. They are coached by Azat Mirakhimov.
As for Greco-Roman wrestling, the team will be represented by Ulan Muratbek uulu (up to 55 kg), Kurmanbek Japаров (up to 60 kg), Bayaman Karimov (up to 67 kg), and other wrestlers in the category up to 97 kg. The head coach of the team is Ulukbek Karacholokov.
Participation in the Muhamet Malo tournament will be a significant step for Kyrgyz athletes, as it is an important stage in their preparation for international competitions in 2026 and in improving their world ranking.
