During the visit, the Director of the Cinematography Department, Talantbek Tolobekov, and the head of the film studio, Maksat Jumayev, informed the minister about the ongoing renovation work.
According to the information provided by the department, the restoration of the elevators has already been completed, and the updating of workspaces for directors, producers, artists, and makeup artists is underway, including the procurement of new furniture.
Work is continuing both in the cinema hall and in the old building, where the creation of specialized filming locations and stage spaces is planned.
Mirbek Mambetaliev emphasized the need to ensure the quality and timely completion of the renovation work, as well as to strengthen control over the targeted use of budget funds. He also instructed to accelerate the modernization of infrastructure and create more favorable conditions for the development of the national cinematography.
