The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic issued a statement emphasizing that the products of the National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm," named after Tolomush Okeeva, cannot be used or distributed without the appropriate permission from the rights holder.
Referring to information from the film studio, the ministry noted that all previously released audiovisual materials belong to the organization that created them. This implies that demonstration, reuse, broadcasting, as well as placing films on the internet, social platforms, and streaming services is only possible with a contract with the rights holder.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Culture indicated that using materials without permission may be considered a violation of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and entails legal responsibility. At the same time, the film studio expressed its readiness to cooperate with the media market and other interested parties within the framework of the current legislation.
