The winners will be determined in 12 categories
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, on December 30, a solemn ceremony of the National Film Award 'AK Ilbirs' will take place at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Bishkek.
This award is one of the most significant professional honors in the field of cinema in the Kyrgyz Republic. Every year, 'AK Ilbirs' recognizes outstanding achievements in national cinema and brings together directors, actors, screenwriters, and cinematographers, as well as specialists in technical professions, as stated in the official announcement.
The name of the award symbolizes the snow leopard — an emblem of strength, development, and cultural resilience.
In 2025, the winners will be selected in 12 nominations covering feature films, documentaries, and short films.
