According to the department, the acquisition includes about 30 names of medicines and medical devices, with direct access to manufacturers. This scheme aims to eliminate intermediaries, ensure that products meet international quality standards, including WHO prequalification, and to form competitive prices through participation in global procurement.
Currently, preparations are underway to conclude the necessary agreements. Preliminary estimates suggest that the implementation of this model will save approximately 410 million soms compared to the previous year.
As noted by the Ministry of Health, the procurement policy for 2026 will focus on reducing prices for medicines, ensuring their quality and reliability of supply, as well as increasing the efficiency of public spending.
