On October 1, 2025, there was an indexing of the insurance parts of pensions, which increased by 10% (by at least 600 soms). For pensioners receiving larger amounts (over 50,000 soms), the supplement amounted to 5,000 soms.
As of January 1, 2026, the average pension in the country was 11,238 soms, which is 766 soms more compared to the previous year. A total of 816.6 thousand pensioners are registered in the country.
It should be noted that in 2025, pension payments were made without delays, and there are no recorded arrears in payments for 2026.
The budget of the Social Fund ended the year with a surplus of about 3 billion soms, indicating financial stability and balance in its budget.
