According to the information from the ministry, work has already begun on the dismantling of old metal railings on both sides of the bridge, as well as milling and cleaning of the worn asphalt surface.
Additionally, earthworks are ongoing on the section of the road from the bridge to Jibek Jolu Avenue, including the relocation of power supply and communication lines.
Due to the reconstruction, traffic on this section of the highway has been closed from February 15 to April 20. Residents and drivers are asked to take these restrictions into account when planning their routes.
The length of the Lebedinovka – HES-5 route is 5.1 kilometers. Upon completion of all work, the road will be expanded from two to four lanes. The project also includes lighting, the construction of new sidewalks on both sides of the bridge, and the creation of a separate pedestrian crossing.
The goal of this work is to increase the road's capacity and reduce traffic load in the northern part of Bishkek.
