His first stop was the village of Toru-Aygyр, where he observed the construction of a solar power plant being carried out by the company OsOO "Bishkek Solar." At the stands specially prepared for demonstration, the head of the cabinet received detailed information about the progress of construction and the future of the facility.
According to data provided by representatives of "Bishkek Solar," the construction of the power plant is nearing completion with 80% of the work done. Initially, the project was expected to be completed in 36 months, but thanks to the high productivity of the team, the timeline was reduced to 24 months.
The expected annual electricity generation will be about 600 million kilowatt-hours, and the total investment in the project will reach 280 million dollars by February next year. The opening of the first phase with a capacity of 100 megawatts is scheduled for August 2026, while subsequent phases are planned for August 2027.
The next stage of the visit involved getting acquainted with a project being implemented by the Vietnamese company "Rox Energy Global" in the village of Kyzyl-Orok. Here, the construction of the solar power plant "Issyk-Kul-1" began in September 2025.
This large-scale project envisions a total capacity of 1900 megawatts and a total investment amount of 1.4 billion dollars. The station will produce up to 3.6 billion kilowatt-hours of environmentally friendly electricity annually.
The project will be implemented in phases: the first phase will be 150 megawatts, the second - 450 megawatts, and the third - 1300 megawatts. The completion of all construction work on the "Issyk-Kul-1" solar power plant is scheduled for 2028.
During his visit, Adylbek Kasymaliev positively assessed the pace of project implementation and the activity of investors.
He noted: "This is an impressive dynamics in such a short time, which is an excellent example of successful interaction between investors and the state. The Cabinet of Ministers is ready to provide the necessary support and conditions for those who want to invest in the economy of our country, whether it concerns projects in energy, infrastructure, or agriculture."
