For example, the cost of transporting a body from Russia is 70,000 rubles, while from the USA it is 8,000 dollars. Each country has its own rates, depending on the price of the flight. Previously, in the event of a Kyrgyz citizen's death abroad, funds were raised through diaspora networks. Now, when we are approached, we can transfer the money in just one day,” the deputy minister added.
Deputy Bolot Sagynaev noted that the embassies of other countries are negotiating with foreign partners for the allocation of burial plots for their citizens who passed away abroad. He suggested that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan also consider conducting such negotiations.
