On February 21, in Fukuoka, Japan, the Asian Cross Country Championship took place, where the Kyrgyzstan team managed to win silver.
The team included Nursultan Keneshbekov, Jusup Sulayman uulu, and Tilekjan Zhekshenaly uulu. These athletes demonstrated excellent results, completing the 10-kilometer distance over challenging terrain.
The Japanese team took first place in the team standings, while the bronze medals went to the team from China. For Kyrgyzstan, this success became an important indicator of the high level of training in athletics on the Asian stage.
