In Bishkek, raids to check payment for public transport rides continue, as reported by the city hall. The Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, as well as the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" and "Tulpar" are actively participating in these activities.
During the inspections, control is exercised over compliance with the rules for fare payment and the receipt of tickets when paying in cash.
“Raids are conducted daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On average, about ten administrative protocols are drawn up per day. The fine for not paying the fare is 1,000 soms. We strongly urge citizens to pay for their rides on time, follow the established boarding and alighting rules, and not forget to obtain a ticket when paying in cash,” the city hall reports.
