
369 people have already been fined for fare evasion
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, raids have intensified to identify passengers who have not paid for public transport. This was reported by the city administration.
Control over fare payment is carried out regularly by the city administration in cooperation with the company "Tulpar." Since the beginning of 2025, 369 cases of fare evasion have already been recorded, and violators have been fined.
For reference, the fare in municipal buses is 17 soms when paid by card and 20 soms when paying in cash. The fine for fare evasion is set at 1000 soms.
