The editorial team of Kaktus.media spent a day in the park to find out what offers await tourists and how much it costs to spend time in this scenic location.
Visitors and Instagram Moments
In the morning, the park sees a few people, but after lunch, there is an active influx. The cabins, which can hold up to ten people, are almost always full. Among the visitors, many foreign guests can be seen, with tourists from China and France predominating on this day.Guests note that the place is perfect for photographs.
“It’s spacious and incredibly beautiful. Such mountains, such nature! Taking pictures here is a pleasure,” shares one of the visitors.
On weekdays, the park is visited by about a thousand people on average, but with the arrival of warm April, an increase in the flow to 7,000 people per day is expected.
Cost of the Cable Car Ride
The price for one ride on the cable car is 600 soms. Most respondents consider this amount quite reasonable.
“It’s just two cups of coffee. But the view from above is something special,” says one of the tourists.
At the same time, opinions can be seen on social media that 600 soms is a high price for one kilometer of travel, and many are calling for a reduction in rates.
It is important to consider that the minimum costs for a trip will amount to about 900 soms. This includes bus fare (50 soms one way), the entrance ticket to the park (200 soms), and the cable car ticket. Taking a taxi, of course, will be significantly more expensive.

Panoramas and New Opportunities
From the top, not only a picturesque view of nature opens up but also of the buildings under construction. Nearby, there are cottages for rent at about $350 per day, and a five-star hotel with a swimming pool is being built, which is planned to open once the weather stabilizes.Experienced tourists advise not to limit themselves to a cable car ride but to continue the hiking route into the mountains from the upper station.

According to the deputy director of the park, Kubanychbek Zhekshenbekov, the opening of the cable car is the first stage of a large-scale project. The second stage involves extending the road by 12 kilometers to the Ala-Archa hotel with an intermediate station and restaurant.
Additionally, this season, the park plans to open a rodelbahn, and negotiations for the construction of a glass bridge are already actively underway.
With the development of infrastructure in the park, new jobs are being created: the launch of the cable car has provided employment for 20 people, and with the opening of the hotel, the number of employees will increase to 50.
