In Germany, the company McDonald's has decided to refrain from displaying images of food on its billboards during the Muslim month of Ramadan. Visual materials will only start appearing after dark.

This new outdoor advertising campaign, in which digital screens are synchronized with daylight hours, allows food to be shown only after sunset, which has received a positive response from the Muslim community.

Now, these digital outdoor billboards are programmed so that during daylight hours, the food packaging is either empty or closed. When night falls, the same packaging "comes to life" and is filled in real-time with fries and burgers.
