According to representatives of the mayor's office, today eight people received 1 million soms each, which became the insurance compensation for their lost homes.
Representatives of the State Insurance Organization emphasized that the insurance coverage level in Bishkek is 25 percent, and this figure needs to be increased, as emergencies can arise unexpectedly. They urged residents to insure their homes, vehicles, and other property.
The State Insurance Organization also noted that state insurance is the only effective tool for quickly compensating citizens affected by emergencies.
