
The parties also discussed the prospects for interregional cooperation
On February 24, a meeting took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kudaybergen Bazarbaev, and the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Nurymbet Saktaganov. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
During the discussion, the ambassador presented information on investment and export potential, as well as considered the possibility of supplying certain types of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting also addressed further steps to strengthen interregional interaction.
The parties proposed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Akimat of the East Kazakhstan region within the framework of the upcoming 2nd interregional forum.
In addition, the participants of the meeting exchanged views on issues of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
