According to local residents, "the park has been fenced off, destroying green spaces, containers are being installed, and construction machinery is operating. Our city already lacks trees, and now the last green zone is being destroyed."
They emphasize that the number of park zones in the capital is decreasing every year. "If new buildings or attractions start to be built here, we will be against it. We hope that the voices of the citizens will be heard, and that a public space for everyone will be created," they added.
The press service of the mayor's office reported that the work is being carried out on the territory belonging to the Sky Park amusement park.

"A new attraction is being installed in this place, which will include elements of landscaping and improvement. The construction of a residential building is not planned here," municipal representatives assured.
It is worth noting that the Sky Park amusement park was opened on June 1, 2025, with the participation of the Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev. In addition to swings and carousels, it was planned to build an amphitheater, museums, exhibition halls, and open stages for concerts and festivals on its territory.
