The project is part of the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov, announced in the decree "On Urgent Measures for the Protection of the Ecology of Lake Issyk-Kul." According to the studio director Nurzhan Tokombaeva, the film will focus on the uniqueness of Issyk-Kul, the ecological challenges facing the region, and the search for possible solutions, as well as changes in infrastructure.
The film crew, led by the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic and director Tynai Ibragimov, has conducted two trips to the shores of the lake, visiting cities such as Balykchy, Cholpon-Ata, and Karakol. The film will showcase various aspects of the development of tourist infrastructure, including the construction of guesthouses, wastewater treatment facilities in Cholpon-Ata and Karakol, as well as a new ring road route around the lake.

The film's author Tynai Ibragimov noted that they held meetings with scientists at the biological station, which is currently undergoing major reconstruction. It is expected to soon operate at full capacity, as it did before.
The film will also showcase the activities of government services aimed at protecting the lake. In Cholpon-Ata, there is an emergency ministry unit equipped with modern equipment, including an underwater drone capable of diving to depths of up to 200 meters to search for poaching nets. Divers are engaged in retrieving old fishing gear from the bottom, which is then disposed of.

Additionally, within the structure of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Kul region, there is a tourist-ecological police unit that uses various means such as speedboats, ATVs, and drones. A surveillance system has been installed along the coast, operating around the clock. The film crew participated in one of the raids against illegal fishing.
The director emphasized: "Thanks to systematic work, the number of poachers has significantly decreased. However, it is important for every citizen to recognize their responsibility for preserving the lake for future generations."
