According to information from Gismeteo, the phenomenon will last for 5 hours and 39 minutes — from 14:45 to 20:24 Moscow time. The total phase of the eclipse will begin at 17:05 and end at 18:04, with the peak of the eclipse occurring at 17:35 (time is given for Bishkek).

Residents of the capital of Kyrgyzstan will only be able to observe the concluding moments of this astronomical event.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is positioned between the Moon and the Sun, creating a shadow that covers the satellite. This phenomenon is only possible during full moons. Astronomers distinguish three types of eclipses: penumbral, partial, and total, with total eclipses generally being the most spectacular.

During the total phase of the eclipse, an effect known as the "blood moon" occurs. Sunlight does not reach the Moon, but some rays pass through the Earth's atmosphere. Short wavelengths are scattered, while red wavelengths penetrate to the surface of the Moon, giving it shades ranging from bright orange to deep brown. The intensity of these colors depends on the state of the atmosphere at the time of the eclipse.

According to medical professionals, the eclipse does not have a negative impact on people's health.
