In Bishkek, the beginning of spring was celebrated with a festive event in honor of March 8
In Bishkek, as is customary, spring was welcomed with joy and indescribable emotions at a solemn evening dedicated to International Women's Day. As part of this event, the presentation of the ninth volume of the encyclopedia "Women of Kyrgyzstan" also took place.

International Women's Day is always associated with spring, symbolizing care and love for women. That evening, more than a thousand women gathered at the philharmonic — mothers of many children, holders of state awards, veterans of the women's movement, and simply remarkable representatives of various professions and ages. The atmosphere of the celebration was filled with sincere emotions and music, making the evening truly unforgettable.

The celebration opened with a greeting from the president of the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan, Zamira Akbagysheva, who emphasized the importance of the holiday that comes with spring.

- With the arrival of spring, the streets are filled with flowers and the smiles of women. Women are the source of life, love, and warmth, - she emphasized. - If men are the support of society, then women are the support of supports. Their kindness and hard work are the main values of our life.

Zamira Akbagysheva wished all women health, love, and well-being, noting that flowers and gifts should bring them joy all year round.

Congratulations were also expressed by high-ranking guests, including the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arslan Koichiev, and the ambassadors of China, the Republic of Korea, and Pakistan. Each of them emphasized the importance of women's roles in society and wished them happiness and love.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, warmly congratulated the women of Kyrgyzstan and shared her country's achievements in the field of women's rights. She noted that the embassy, together with the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan, is implementing projects aimed at improving the well-being of women through education.

Zamira Akbagysheva expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for their support and emphasized that cooperation between the women of the two countries should continue and deepen.

Of course, the celebration included a concert program. Renowned performers of Kyrgyz culture, such as the komuz ensemble "Akak," Nurai Azykbayeva, and many others, took to the stage of the philharmonic.

Before the start of the celebration, there was an official presentation of the ninth volume of the encyclopedia "Women of Kyrgyzstan." Zamira Akbagysheva noted that the book was created so that the younger generation knows about the greatness and contributions of women to the development of the country.

The encyclopedia includes biographies of about 200 women who made significant contributions in various fields. The book opens with a welcoming address from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, and includes congratulations from diplomats from many countries.

Among the outstanding women presented are Toktogon Altybasarova, who raised 150 orphans, and Asel Baibagyshova, a climber and holder of the "For Leadership" medal. The book also features stories of other successful women working in various sectors.

At the event, actress Anarkul Nazarkulova was awarded the "Exemplary Mother" medal. Other women received awards for their contributions to various spheres of the country's life. The grand prize — a trip to Istanbul — was awarded to the People's Artist of the Russian Drama Theater, Larisa Lyubomudrova, while other participants received gifts from Sheraton and cosmetic sets from the Republic of Korea.
