At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues on March 3, Egemberdieva suggested paying attention to anti-cinemas, where, according to her, students abuse drugs under the pretext of watching movies.

She inquired whether inspections of such establishments are conducted and if their closure is possible.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdieyev confirmed the existence of violations in anti-cinemas. He reported that individuals involved in drug distribution have been held accountable and promised to provide data on the number of registered cases.

The deputy also urged the Ministry of Internal Affairs to strengthen control over such establishments.
