Kyrgyz citizens will face mandatory vehicle inspections

In addition, the import of vehicles without catalytic converters will be prohibited.



At a meeting of the parliamentary committee on law enforcement, crime fighting, and corruption on March 3, Deputy Adilet Belekov presented a bill that introduces mandatory vehicle inspections for the presence of catalytic converters.


Among the initiators of this bill are deputies Marlen Mamataliyev, Medina Kairylbekova, and Adilet Belekov.


Furthermore, there are plans to impose a ban on the import of vehicles not equipped with catalytic converters.


Fines of 40,000 and 30,000 soms, respectively, are provided for providing false conclusions on vehicle inspections and for the removal of catalytic converters.
