A 120 Megawatt Thermal Power Plant Will Be Built in Karakol

A thermal power plant with a capacity of 120 megawatts is planned to be built in Karakol. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, during his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, familiarized himself with the project on-site.

As part of the implementation of this project, it is planned to connect the new station to the electrical networks through the 110/35/10 kV "Przhevalsk" substation.

The ministry noted that the launch of the new facility will fully meet Karakol's electricity needs.
