An employee of the OPSM, working in the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh, was detained by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' SVR during the investigation of a fraud case. According to information obtained during the investigation, in August 2025, he deceitfully acquired 100,000 soms, receiving 50,000 from two citizens known as "K.Y." and "T.D." This money was intended to assist in obtaining driver's licenses and was transferred via the mobile application "Mbank" to the accounts specified by him.
The suspect was arrested on March 4, 2026, and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security. Investigative actions are currently ongoing. The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes that obtaining driver's licenses is only possible through legal means and reminds of the importance of combating corruption, as highlighted by the position of President S.N. Japarov.
