In 2025, Kyrgyzstan ranked 95th in the Global Gender Gap Index, which assessed the level of gender disparity in countries around the world.

On the eve of International Women's Day, experts conducted an analysis of the situation regarding women's rights in various corners of the planet. According to international data, humanity can expect to achieve full gender equality in about 123 years.

The neighboring Kazakhstan is positioned at 92nd place, while Uzbekistan and Tajikistan ranked 110th and 129th respectively.

The highest levels of equality are observed in countries such as Australia, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada. At the same time, the worst results are recorded in the states of the Middle East and North Africa.

Only 14 countries in the world have achieved full legal equality between men and women. These include Iceland, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, and Sweden.
