Digitalization in the country allows for significant savings on paper.
This week, Marlen Mamataliyev, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, announced the salaries of deputies.
During a parliamentary session, he noted that a deputy's salary amounts to 58,432 soms.
In addition, each deputy is allocated a fund of 80,000 soms. These funds are intended for the maintenance of a service vehicle, payment for a driver, office expenses, as well as for airline tickets and travel within the regions.
Experts believe that the speaker's statements made in the presence of deputies were more aimed at public opinion, as discussions continue regarding the significant costs of maintaining deputies and the apparatus of the Jogorku Kenesh. Many residents of Kyrgyzstan believe that office expenses can be reduced, especially considering the active digitalization of the state apparatus.
