Modern French equipment was presented in Bishkek, acquired as part of a comprehensive modernization of this sector.

Kyrgyzstan has become the first country in the CIS to integrate 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies into the production process of prosthetic and orthopedic products at the state level. The presentation of the new equipment took place today at an institution under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The complex, which costs nearly 46 thousand euros, was purchased with funds from the republican budget. Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov noted that this event is part of a program to modernize the material and technical base, for which 100 million soms have been allocated. Previously, the equipment in this department had not been updated for over 40 years.

The implementation of new technologies will ensure high precision in the production of products for 13 thousand citizens with disabilities who are registered. Digital solutions will reduce the time for manufacturing and the number of fittings, making the rehabilitation process more comfortable and personalized.
