In response, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Mirbek Duyshiev stated that such information has no official confirmation.
He noted: "We have a stable situation."
However, Bekeshev expressed doubts: "If it were just one or two appeals, I might not have raised the issue. But if farmers are complaining en masse about livestock diseases, it raises serious questions about the existence of a problem."
The Deputy Minister again confirmed the absence of official data on this matter.
Nevertheless, Bekeshev pointed out the need to inform the public about livestock health: "People need to know what is happening. They cannot risk buying meat from sick animals. This is a serious problem. I have even temporarily prohibited my relatives from buying beef," he added.
In addition, Deputy Ismanali Joroev also noted an increase in cases of foot-and-mouth disease among animals, including cases in the Chui region.
