The government expects that the new legislation will bring about 700 million soms to the budget annually.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated changes in the licensing process for certain types of activities. The corresponding draft resolution has been submitted for public discussion.

The amendments concern the government resolution "On the Licensing of Certain Types of Activities" dated December 14, 2023, number 678. These changes aim to simplify licensing in the field of architecture and construction, as well as further digitalize this sector.

One of the key proposals is the requirement for specialists holding state qualification certificates to work on a permanent basis only in one organization. Additionally, the procedure for confirming documentation during licensing will change. Confirmation of tax payments by specialists will be carried out automatically through the state information system.

Thus, the government hopes to reduce the time for processing documents, ensure transparency in the employment of specialists, and attract up to 700 million soms to the budget annually.
