Starting from April 1 of this year, the salaries of medical workers will be doubled.
“Each doctor and nurse will receive 15,000 soms per month from the presidential fund for salary increases. This should serve as an additional incentive for the workers,” noted the deputy minister.
In addition, he added that the deposit for young doctors in the regions has increased from 33,000 soms to 66,000 soms.Currently, 500 doctors receive this deposit every three months, and by the end of the year, it is planned to start payments to another 2,000 doctors. In his opinion, this will help address the issue of staff shortages in medicine.
Mamadaliev also reported that neonatologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators receive an additional 20,000 soms monthly.
The budget of the Ministry of Health for 2025 will amount to 52 billion 383 million soms, and it increases every year, noted the deputy minister.
