After negotiations, a final decision has been made
The construction of a three-story jewelry center near the Central Department Store (TSUM) in Bishkek will be completed. This decision was reached after discussions between the building owners, representatives of the city administration, and the company "Tashbolot Holding."
Local residents nicknamed this structure "the box" and have repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with both its location—on the site where flower beds used to be—and its design.
Representatives of "Tashbolot Holding" clarified that this building is not related to the Old Bishkek project and belongs to different owners. In response to public discontent, the company decided to start negotiations with the city hall and the owners.
As a result of these negotiations, the parties agreed on the demolition. The technical demolition work will be carried out by the Old Bishkek project team.
The company also noted that a park will be created on the site of the "box" building.
